Fundraising Events
The support of individuals and community partners is key to our success in helping families living with autism.
Community fundraising events held across Canada allow Autism Canada to continue
to be a place where families can find information and support in choosing treatments for their children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
We are forever grateful to all those who have organized, sponsored, or volunteered at any events in support
of Autism Canada.

Host an Event
One way you can get involved is by hosting a fundraising event for Autism Canada.
This kind of activity is called a “third-party” fundraiser.
By organizing a third-party fundraising event, you can get involved in your community,
be creative and contribute to a great cause.
You can even involve students who need community service hours to complete their high school requirements.
Events can be as simple or elaborate as you choose to make them and can range from garage sales and art shows
to golf tournaments and car washes. Here are a few ideas for fundraising events:
- Golf Tournaments, Concerts, Road Rallies, etc.
- Marathons, Dances, etc.
- Wine Tastings, Black-Tie Events, etc.
- Auctions, Grand Openings, Store Promotions, etc.
- Car Washes, Craft Shows, Bake Sales, etc.
- Casual Days, Holiday Parties, etc.
- Bike-a-thon, Walk-a-thon, Bowl-a-thon, Workout-a-thon, Dance-a-thon, etc.
Once you have decided on the event you would like to host, please let us know of your plans.
Whether you need help coming up with ideas or promoting your event,
we would be happy to assist you as much as possible.
We have been involved in countless events over the years,
so we are more than willing to lend our experience and expertise to yours.
To begin the process, we ask that you read our Third-Party Event Procedures and Guide
and fill out the attached Event Description Form.
Once you have submitted this form, Autism Canada will contact you to further discuss your event.
