A Whole-Body Systems Approach To Autism
The framing of autism as a whole body condition deriving from gene-environmental-epigenetic
interactions with treatment and recovery possibilities is advancing on multiple fronts.
New science is being published and more is on the way to substantiate this approach.
Parents, practitioners and researchers are coalescing to organize more coherent infrastructure to support ad advance this work.
The heterogeneity of the condition along with deep physiological overlaps with many other disorders reveal
limitations in standard models of experimental design and clinical trials,
but also suggest that powerful alliances may become possible in rising to these challenges.
