Lisa Palasti, RDI veteran parent, RDI Consultant and Director of Professional Training in Canada will present an online, autism parenting series to provide families with the understanding they need to know now to restore hope for their child’s future. She will share the latest autism research, the critical unique role parents have in helping their children thrive using a loving, respectful relationship developmentally-sound approach. Strategies that support the research will be discussed and demonstrated with video review. Parents will learn how they can optimize their day-to-day living with their children to develop intrinsic motivation (you can’t teach that at a table), flexible thinking and problem solving, resiliency, mindful connected communication, emotional intelligence, self-awareness and social competency. Participants will receive access to an online library for 2 months, 2 – 1 hour phone consultations, weekly assignments and bonus e-learning recordings and more.
