YOUR CHILD CAN PARTICIPATE IN A STUDY ON MUSIC, VIDEO GAMES AND AUTISM FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME

Summary: 
In this study, we are evaluating an entertaining new game for children on the autism spectrum’s rhythmic and cognitive abilities. The game is a mobile app for tablet and smartphone

Who can participate: 
Participants should be 7-13 years of age, understand English or French, have less than 2 years of formal musical training, have an autism diagnosis without comorbidities, have a normal sight and hearing (or corrected to normal) and live anywhere in Canada.

What’s involved: 
Participation involves playing an entertaining game on tablet from home (2h30/week for 2 weeks), plus two sessions of videoconference (about 90 & 45 minutes each) to help prepare for the game and complete questionnaires and online tasks.

Compensation:
50$ compensation is provided for your child’s participation.
